Social innovators lined up for Startup Festival return
Founders and social innovators from companies like Social Bite, FreeAgent and the Edinburgh Tool Library will be in attendance at this year’s festival.
The programme for the Startup Festival is now available.
The day will feature the usual mix of workshops, one2one advice, networking, talks, tours, pitching competitions, film screenings, as well as the popular f*** up night.
Leading social innovators Mel Young of Homeless World Cup and Social Bite’s Alice Thompson will come together for the first time to talk about new solutions for our changing world. Other founders and companies include FreeAgent, FanDuel, Skyscanner, Sticky Heelz, Mallzee, Mercat Tours, Tribe Porty, Edinburgh Tool Library and many more.
The E Club’s annual pitching competition returns with £5K of prizes up for grabs in the categories of Novel Ideas and Venture Development.
The event is mostly free but ticketed.
